People use web based email like yahoo or other free email accounts because they can access them by logging onto the web from any PC.

That is all well and good until you try clicking on a link in a website that says 'click here to email',  then the website opens up your default email client (normally outlook express), but because you do not use outlook express there are no settings and you can not send the email. The only way around it is to copy the email address, open your web based client and paste it in.
